As believers we have the responsibility to look out for our Christian brothers and sisters particularly those who suffer poverty, persecution, and pain for following Christ. ‘Am I my brother’s keeper?’”Ĭain wanted to deny his role in looking out for his brother even though he knew of his terrible sin against Abel.

However money in and of itself isn’t evil-it’s the love of money that consumes and drives many people far away from the true riches offered from God. This is another misquoted scripture as many people say “money is the root of all evil”. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.” …the greatest of these is love #6) 1 Timothy 6:10- “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil.
